Gary's Gem Garden

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SPECIAL NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gary will be in Franklin, New Jersey for the Sterling Hill Super Dig on April 26th visit uvworld.org for more information.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON OUR STORE
Collecting minerals, fossils, shells and cutting gems started at age eleven. Jewelry making soon followed. The business was started in 1973 at age 17.

Gary was a Science major and Art minor throughout high school ( Cherry Hill East ) and studied Geology and Art at Rutgers University. Education has continued with the help of seminars, colleagues, museums, books and magazines.

We traveled throughout the northeast doing up to 45 shows per year. Our first store was in the Circle Village Shopping Center in Pennsauken. We then moved to the 1500 sq. ft. store, in the Woodcrest Shopping Center, when we purchased the inventory of Stellar Gemstones.

After 17 years there, we moved to our current 3200 sq. ft. location, which continues to grow, drawing customers from across the country and around the world.

We are now considered to be the largest complete rock shop in the east.

Gary is also an officer in the local rock club, The Delaware Valley Earth Science Society, Inc. There are monthly meetings, field trips and annual events like the picnic and auction and banquet.

We have traveled extensively to collect and purchase much of our inventory and deal direct with miners, owners and companies to get the best pricing.
